Incredible Hulk Birthday Party Fun Facts

The Incredible hulk can be seen as the ultimate superhero to a lot of kids, and lots of adults too. The hulk, A.K.A. Dr. Robert Bruce Banner is a fictional character who first got his start in marvel Comics Universe. He has his very own comic book and is one of marvel comics most well recognized characters. Who wouldnt recognize the hulk, with his giant muscled torso and green skin? In the hulk series Dr. Banner became the hulk after he was caught in the explosion of a gamma device of his own making. Rather than killing him it changed his DNA, so whenever he becomes angry he changes into the hulk.

As the Incredible hulk, Dr. Banner has superhuman strength, and invulnerability, but he can also heal himself incredibly quickly, he can communicate with astral bodies, he is basically immune to gamma radiation, and he has a strong resistance to mind control. Interestingly when the hulk was first created he was gray in color and transformed into the hulk each day at sunset. Dr. Banner is pursued by General Thaddeus Ross early on in the comic book series. The Generals daughter, Betty, is in love with Dr. Banner and tries futily to stop her Fathers search for the doctor.

The hulk was cancelled after just six issues, but on receiving a letter from several college students stating that they had chosen the hulk as their official mascot the creators realized that the hulk appealed to an unexplored demographic and they brought the hulk to life in several running guest appearances in other comic books. Eventually the hulk got his own comic book again which was given the fitting title, The Incredible hulk.

To this day the Incredible hulk has continued on with lots of fresh new story ideas. The latest hulk comic planned for release is to be called, world war hulk.
