...Nowadays, yoga is widespread and is new forms are continuously being developed today. Millions of people around the world enjoy yoga every day or week, depending on circumstances into this activity.

Of the so many forms of yoga, Hatha yoga is by far the most common form, which involves both breathing control, physical exercise and postures combined. These exercises allow optimized blood circulation and improves flexibility, stamina, strength and vitality.

It is also a form of peaceful mediation that contributes to self-awareness and gives an extra energy that creates general wellbeing.

It should be easy to locate somewhere to practice your yoga as there are centers in most cities in the Western world.

...In Part 1 of yoga styles I discussed three styles of yoga, the yogi that introduced the style and the clients they are best suited to. In this article I will explain three more styles and give a quick run-down of yoga class etiquette.

Bikram- Also known as hot yoga was introduced by Bikram Choudury. Bikram yoga is another branch of Hatha. It is characterized by a room heated to a temperature of 105F (40.5C) with a humidity of 40%. The classes are typically 90 minutes in length and suited for participants of all levels. The class always consists of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. If you are going to try hot yoga make sure you bring a change of clothes. The heat plus the exercises won't leave you with a dry spot on your shirt after class!

Yoga And Depression? Yoga Teaches About Depression

Because depression is shutting down our ability to absorb life it is closely related to our breathing pattern. The more depressed you are the shallower breaths you will take.
